Erin
Erin is a 2D platformer video game based on the Myers-Briggs personalities test where each behavior model is represented by a letter that gives as a result 16 personalities that can be encapsulated in 4 groups.
Analysts: INTJ, INTP, ENTJ, ENTP
Diplomats: INFJ, INFP, ENFJ, ENFP.
Sentinels: ISTJ, ISFJ, ESTJ, ESFJ.
Explorers: ISTP, ISFP, ESTP, ESFP.
Taking that into account the first chapter of the game is built through 4 decisions and has multiple finals depending on which decisions the player makes throughout the game. The game works as follows: Erin, the main character, appears in a cave with no memory and she has to discover what she’s doing there by making decisions. Each decision has a relation with a behavior model to check if you are outwardly or inwardly focused (extraversion-introversion), how you prefer to take information (sensing-intuition), how you prefer to make decisions (thinking-feeling) and how you prefer to live your outer life (judging-perceiving).
The game is set in a continuous space, the aesthetic is based on pixels, and the mechanics are simple: walking and jumping.
